Holger Kilumets is a visual artist working with photography. He graduated with First-class Honours from BA Photography and Video Art at University of Bedfordshire in 2014.
Kilumets's practice is an investigation of photography as a medium and, in particular, it’s role as a representational device. His ongoing research is concerned with questions such as what are the underlying mechanisms of photographic representation and how do photographic images influence our perception and understanding of the world.
Kilumets's work has been shown in solo and group exhibitions in the United Kingdom. He was shortlisted for the Source-Cord Prize in 2014. In 2015 Kilumets was selected for The Catlin Guide as one of the UK's most promising young artists.
